RR-CirKits
144-Bit
Parallel Digital I/O Board
The ACL-7122 emulates Mode
0 of the 8255 PPI. This mode provides simple input and output for each
of the three ports. No handshaking is required as data is directly written
to, or read from, a specified port by the software. Each of the six 8255
PPI chips controls 24 bits of digital I/O, and has three 8-bit ports (A,
B and C), which can be individually programmed as either inputs or outputs
using WinLok and it's new PIA8255
driver, or your own program.
